Knitting Pattern for "BURREN" Tweed Wool Beanie Pattern for Women and Men/ Easy/ Knit in the Round
Knitting Pattern for "BURREN" handknit beanie for Men and Women.
This handknit beanie is inspired by the beauty of the Burren area, located in the west of Ireland. It has an unique ecosystem making it geographically and botanically original. The area is covered in huge boulders of bare grey rock , which appear empty and barren from a distance, but which are in fact covered in tiny rare species of flowers and botanical specimens, which are world-famous and of huge significance in the botanical world-the famous Burren "flora and fauna". The area has miles and miles of bare rock, in a multitude of gray shades, subtly speckled with the colours of the flowers growing between the cracks in the rocks-known as "clints and grykes". This wild and wonderful landscape inspired this hat pattern. The hat is a close-fitting beanie/cap style with raised horizontal ridges on the bottom half and a plain knit upper part. It is very comfortable to wear and looks great on everyone. This beanie is beautifully soft and warm and perfect for the autumn/winter season.
The pattern is a PDF which you can download immediately.
